# N10 · A letter to the next reader

Marginal letter

I tried to make the ending generous. I gave the load a destination, the clock a night and the orchard a silence. Then I found that each gift was something the records had never owned.

Keep the destination as an instruction. Keep the number as a number. Keep the silence open. If you reach the folded leaf, leave a finding small enough for its evidence and large enough to resist the clipping.

The next reader should be able to walk your path. Cite the accepted pair, the surviving observations and their limits, and the selected instrument edition. A beautiful answer that cannot be retraced is another clipping.
